Thanks to advanced abrasive technology, these J-flex ceramic belts deliver maximum cut rate and longevity. Microcrystalline abrasive grain fractures during use, continuously revealing fresh, sharp edges. These belts have a visible stearate topcoat for cooler grinding. This produces a mottled appearance and does not affect the abrasive grain distribution. J weight sanding belts are great for slack belt sanding, contours, and getting into hard to reach places. Their versatility make them a great choice for knife makers, blacksmiths, welders, or anyone finishing metals.

I've been grinding a lot of hardened steel lately and these J-flex belts just keep cutting without loading up. The flexible backing lets them wrap tight radiuses on my 2x42 grinder way better than the stiff belts I used before. Six belts for the price is a solid deal too.

These ceramic belts hog off steel way faster than the aluminum oxide ones I was using, and after a few hours on 1084 the J-flex backing still hasn't cracked at the joint. Grinding bevels on my 2x42 has never gone this quick.
