2x48" Aluminum Oxide Metal Sanding Belts

Our closed coat aluminum oxide sanding belts are designed specifically for use on metal. This industrial grade material features a load and heat reducing top coat, making it excellent for knife making and other metalworking applications. Heavy duty X-weight backing can handle spritzing but is not fully waterproof. Hand built in the USA.

The closed coat really holds up—after grinding down a steel bracket, the belts still had plenty of grit left and didn't load up like cheaper ones do. Heat buildup stayed manageable too, so I didn't have to swap them out mid-project.
