Thanks to advanced abrasive technology, these J-flex ceramic belts deliver maximum cut rate and longevity. Microcrystalline abrasive grain fractures during use, continuously revealing fresh, sharp edges. These belts have a visible stearate topcoat for cooler grinding. This produces a mottled appearance and does not affect the abrasive grain distribution. J weight sanding belts are great for slack belt sanding, contours, and getting into hard to reach places. Their versatility make them a great choice for knife makers, blacksmiths, welders, or anyone finishing metals.

These 2x48 belts outlasted the aluminum oxide ones I used to run on my 2x48 grinder by a long shot. The flexible backing lets them wrap tight curves without the splice giving out, and after a full afternoon of shaping knife bevels there's barely any wear.
