6 Inch Cotton Spiral Sewn Buffing Wheels

6 Inch Cotton Spiral Sewn Buffing Wheels - Main image
$10.82 $14.82 In stock

Spiral sewn buffing wheels are the most common style used for general polishing. The spiral design provides a tighter stitching than a loose sewn buffing wheel. This allows for greater pressure to be applied to the work surface and therefore allows the user to get more scratches out of the work piece. Great for mirror polishing of knife blades, axe heads, and other metal surfaces.

  • 6 Inch Diameter
  • 55 Ply = approx. 3/4 Inch width
  • Not recommend to not exceed 3,600 RPM.
  • Must be used with polishing compound. We recommend our Green or White compound.

Henry ★★★★★

I grabbed these for stripping old finish off a cedar chest and they held up way better than the loose sewn wheels I used before, no fraying even after a lot of pressure. The 6 inch size fits my bench grinder fine and the tighter stitching keeps them from flaring out.

The tighter spiral stitching really lets me lean into the metal without the wheel fluffing out or distorting, which makes a huge difference on tougher jobs. I grabbed a 6-inch one and it holds up beautifully under steady pressure, leaving a smooth finish every time. Exactly what I needed for my gene
