Our open coat aluminum oxide sanding belts are both versatile and economical. This industrial grade material is anti-loading and anti-static, making it excellent for woodworking and many other sanding applications. This is great sanding belt to have around the shop for general use. Durable X-weight backing is designed for dry applications only. If you are a woodworker, these belts are for you!     Bought these for my 6x258 belt sander and the open coat really does resist loading when I'm working through pine. Two belts in the pack feels a bit stingy for the price, but the aluminum oxide grit has held up through a few hours of sanding without dulling.
