The closed coat really holds up on steel—I’ve gone through a whole strip of 2x42 belts before, but these barely load up even after heavy grinding. Heat stays manageable too, so I can keep working without swapping them out constantly.

I was surprised how well these belts held up on my stainless steel knife bevels; the closed coat really does reduce heat. After a dozen blades, they still cut aggressively without glazing over.

These stayed cool and didn't load up even after grinding a bunch of welds down. The 2x42 size fits my belt grinder perfectly and the aluminum oxide grit really holds up on steel. Six belts for this price is a solid deal.
