The ceramic grain on these belts stays sharp noticeably longer than the cheaper zirconia ones I tried before, and they run much cooler against the metal. I’ve already gone through three belts on a heavy stock removal job without any glazing or premature wear.

Switched from aluminum oxide to these ceramic belts and the difference is night and day—they run noticeably cooler on stainless steel. The 132-inch length gives me plenty of room to work, and after a full day of grinding, they still have plenty of life left.

These belts cut through steel way faster than the old zirconia ones I had, and they stay cool enough that I don’t have to keep swapping them mid-job. The ceramic grain really holds its edge for a solid three belts of heavy grinding.
